All the quads are finished and prologue is officially over. The first car off tomorrow is 7am and bikes are due to start at 10am.
that ends the typed comentary for today. We aim to be back online at 6.50am tomorrow morning.

Over half the quads are out now with around 7 finished. The finish line is getting hectic with all the quads finishing in a bundle.

11 out out of the 25 quads are on the track now, with the first quad coming back. Ivan finished with a time of 6;36.

Ivan Abreu is the first off the line for the quads, followed by William Nyholt.

The last of the bikes are coming in now and we await the departure of the quads.
Paul Tibbertsma finished with a time of 7;30. Paul Raymond finished a few moments later with a time of 7;25.

Down at the startline of the Gascoyne Dash there is dust everywhere. Bikes are coming and going and the quads will be leaving soon.

The sun is burning, the sky is blue and we estimate the temperature to be about 38 degrees. What a lovely hot day for an off road event in Gascoyne.

Everything is slowly coming into place and we will let u know whatis happening in a while.
We will be having a five minute break between the bikes and quads but we still have a fair few bikes to go.

Jamie Ramien on his Yamaha YZ4505 finished with a time of 8;38.
The bikes are coming through thick and fast so check the live results for a clearer view on the prologue times for bikes, quads and cars.

We have a few entrants that are out of state. 2 from NSW and 1 from Vic. We wish them luck as well all the other competitors in the 2009 Gascoyne Dash!

We are about 60 cars into our 140+ field. The start line is slowly settling down but it is still is abit caotic.
Andrew Somers finished his prologue with a awsome time of 5;05 on his Kawasaki.

Joshua Groenenberg on his Honda finished with a time of a 7;00.

David Kearney just arrive back at the finish line with a time of 6;52 and Kevin O'Bryan not long after with a time 6;55. Thats was a close call between those two men.

The second lot of bikes are ajust about to start. David Kearney started us of and we await his finish.

The startline is very hectic. Bikes are coming and going all the time.
Ben Cook blasted the line with a time of 6;35 and Geoff Woods came in with a close time to Cook with a 6;37.

Scott Rhodes stormed the line with a time of 6;16 and Todd Smith raged in with the helicopter chasing not far behind.

We are 10 bikes into the field of 140+ bikes. The guys are all coming up to the line at a fast rate. Vern Strange finished with a time of 5;41 and Paul brown finishing 10 seconds later with a time of 5;51.

Local entry of David Don has just finished in front of Kirk Larson. The south Australian entry of Wally Francombe and Bernie Gwynne has just dusted in the finish line with a time of 6;30. Not bad for Wally's first drive in the Pro Truck.
We are having a short break while we recover the cars before we start the 140 bikes.

Brad Cooper in the new bat finished his prologue in 6;03. Passing the Jimco Outerbounds Racing buggy of Beau Robinson who has stopped in the river with reasons unknown.

Brian Robinson has come around in a time of 5;45. 10 seconds slower than youngest son Travis.

Most of the field have undertaken their prologues with the Outerbounds Racing pro buggies just storming of the start line. Travis Robinson has just finished his prologue blitsing the field in a time of 5;36.
